UPDATE: George Zimmerman SPEAKS & SOLICITS Donations, Florida Special Prosecutor Decides AGAINST Grand Jury
The killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin continues to makes headlines across the nation as the special prosecutor appointed to the case has decided not to convene a grand jury. And in other shocking news, the shooter, George Zimmerman, is now taking donations to help aid in his "defense." Get the deets inside.....
After the killing of Trayvon Martin almost two months ago, there are now new developments where shooter George Zimmerman is concerned.
In a shocking move that raised many eyebrows, the special prosecutor investigating the shooting decided AGAINST putting together a grand jury to seek an indictment against George Zimmerman. As a result, it means George CANNOT be charged with first-degree murder. "The state must go forward and be able to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt," said Angela Corey, the special prosecutor assigned to the case.
This doesn't mean Zimmerman won't be charged with anything at some point. It's still a disheartening turn of events.
Meanwhile, George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin, started a website last night (which crashed within minutes) where he is soliciting donations. He said in a statement for the first time via his site,
“As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without any intermediaries."
Interesting that there are actually people out there who are going to send this man their money. And the audacity of this man to talk about his inconveniences after shooting an unarmed boy several times. It just gets more disgusting as things develop.

While working on her Lip Lock album, Eve took the time to talk about her place in music with The Women of Hip-Hop and she also shared her opinions about female MCs beefs between Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea, and Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj.
On her new music:
“I’m gonna throw out a viral single at the end of this month before the official single. I’m probably gonna throw out a couple records before the radio single. My whole goal for this record, since it’s been so long, I wanted to make sure that my core audience didn’t feel like Eve completely forgot about us and went to another side. I feel like this record is well rounded. It has enough of the hard street stuff, it has some radio stuff, but it also has some stuff that people can listen to when they’re feeling down.”
On new female rappers:
“I like Azealia Banks. I think her style is dope. If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute. I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really fuck with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it.”
On her dream collaboration:
“Lauryn Hill has always been my one dream collaboration. She to me is so dope lyrically. Unfortunately, she’s just in a place right now mentally, but that would be a dream come true.”
On which five female MCs she would put on a record:
“I would definitely have to get Missy [Elliott]. I would definitely have to do Kim ’cause I never got to do a record with Kim. Azealia Banks, I like her. A lot of people want me to hate on Nicki and say crazy things about her. I ain’t got nothing to say about her. Until somebody names me by name, then I don’t feel like nobody [is talking] about me. I wouldn’t have a problem putting her on a record.”
On the Lil’ Kim vs. Nicki Minaj feud:
“It’s not about publicity. It’s about wanting that respect. Nicki Minaj Gets A Bedazzled Cake For Miami Album Release Party
After a heavy promo tour for her new Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album last week, Nicki Minaj finally chilled out Easter Sunday in Miami with her YMCMB crew. And she had a fitting bedazzled 4-tier Swarovski decorated cake for her bash at Fontainebleau Hotel.

Nicki and YMCMB's head honcho Lil Wayne partied it up alongside the rest of the fam--like Cortez, Mack Maine, Birdman and Mystikal--at Miami's Fontainebleau Hotel.
The creative folks at Divine Delicacies Custom Cakes told us they whipped up a strawberry shortcake flavored creation for the blonde Barb. And did it on a one-night's notice after Wayne put in a request the night before.
It's 4 tiers of fondant, edible color paints (including Nicki's fave color pink), pink pearl Fondant bows and pink & blue Swarovski crystal bands around the cake and brooches on the bows.
Nicki's new album covers and monogram and paint splashes like what's on her covers were all over it too.
By the way, this was the 29-year-old's first time meeting Mystikal and she tweeted: “Met Mystikal… Didn’t tell him I had a crush on him back in da day doe.”
